for directions.

In reply to the second paragraph of your

letter we are instructed to say that whether the

Marconi action is brought in respect of the proposed

contracts or not our clients' intention is to defend

it and not to permit these proceedings to interfere

in any way with the due conduct of their business and

they are prepared and resolved to carry out their

contracts.
